Tiny baby

Just looking at the pic to the left!? Needs a update :) That tiny babe is so grown up. She will not lett me put a diaper on her when we go out. Made me nervous at first but so far so good. We only put one on her at night (much to her dismay) although over half the time she is dry in the am. Turning into such a little lady!

Please pray for Roy and work. Cray plummbing has been extreamly slow the last month. They finished some really big long jobs in the beginning of summer and not much has developed since. Roy is going to start cleaning an office building MWF nights from 6-11. That will help and not interfeer with work. We know the Lord is in control and will always provide for His own! He also tells us to ask so if you will join me in a little asking we would appreciate it.

Monday, Monday!

I love Mondays when everything can get back to normal.
Wonderful day yesterday. Prayer, worship, food, fellowship with the believers then family fun outside with a kite, rollerblades, bikes, the park and a nice walk with the neighbors. After dinner Roy and the boys took apart an old vacuum cleaner an are trying to figure out what to hook the motor up to now :) Two of the parts from the handle turned into a gun and a very cool spaceship. Played a game of Skip Bo with them and then off to bed a little late.
Today I am taking Levi for his first haircut. Excited and sad at the same time.
Lunch at a park will also be in the plans praying Avery cooperates as it will be her nap time.

Baby

Saw the midwife last week.
I am gaining weight almost 10lbs already.
HR is steady 150
Uterus is proper size (u2)
Still not sure if we will find out what baby is.

I am fighting the tail end of a cold.
Levi has a horrible snotty nose.
Micah cleared the table, swept, and cleaned the entire downstairs last night all by himself without anyone nagging him to get his work done. and without complaining that Ian was not helping.
Rewared with staying up late playing games with mom and dad. He wanted to play thecomputer :( after he said this was a better reward than the computer :) He is so growing up to be a responsible young man!

Yesterday we were talking about the cutest baby... Ian asked me who it was and I of course said Levi, whom Ian absolutly loves. Ian said "no mom it's Asher." He and Micah then got in a lengthy conversation of all the cute things about Asher from his looks to his actions. Wish i had a video camera to send to you Rachel it was great :)

Update

My parents were here for 6 days. Had lots of fun and deep conversations :(
Went peach picking for about 15 mins. and left with 3 boxes of peaches!
Been pickling our cukes from the garden.
Making peach jam and canning peaches.
Traded produce for fresh eggs.
lovin life in a bigger home with the benifits of a yard and garden!!
God is so good!

busy week

We seem to have many places to go this week.
Yesterday I had a MOPS leadership meeting.
Today we are going to a birthday party.
We seldom go to bday parties so the kids are excited (been to only one in the last 2 years).
Anyone have good recipes for zucchini? I have it coming out my ears. Shredding and freezing some but want to use as much as I can while it is fresh. Roy and the boys want to make a stand to sell it and cukes and beets and turnips. Wish yall were close by so we could share!

Had a great dr/midwife visit! Heart rate is 150.
Went to get gas but do not have the right key for the tank closer screwy thingy.
Got an espresso shake and took kids to park
stopped at health food store for prenatals.
home for lunch and naps
picked veggies from garden. Took boys and neighbor boys to give veggies to several neighbors.
Boys got boxes from a neighbor and have made a fort behind our house.
Fun to watch their boy crreative side :)
yes I am a busy mom but I sure do love it.

Outdoor fun

I like to take the kids on nature hikes as much as possible. I was in charge of setting up summer play dates for my MOPS group so today we are going on a nature hike! McNary wildlife refuge is a really fun kid frienly place. last year they added a bunch of indoor museum type things and we have not been to them yet. Should be a fun morning with a educational twist :)

The weather here has been perfect. Steady 93-96 and no humidity :) Lots of time outside for the kiddos!
I just got a bunch of spring pics on fb. I so need to keep up with that better and it would not take so long to do.
So sorry to hear of Ceasars passing will be praying for you Rachel.
Best get going as I am already off to a late start for school today.

Under the weather

Ian and Avery are both sick again :( Thankfully they are easy to deal with just let them lay on the couch. I am trying to get Levi to sleep till 7. He wants to wake and nurse at 5 now :( would like to eliminate that feeding. I figure I have 4 months to completly wean him. Hard to believe he is almost 1!!
I have my first official appointment with the midwife on Friday. Looking forward to getting to know her better. Roy and I both really like her at the interview, although she told lots of stories.
Loved going through the pics yesterday thanks for all the hard work in taking them and posting them. I am so far behind with my FB pics will try to get the ones in my computer on soon and then work on getting the ones off the camera.

back in the swing of things

Off to a rough start today. Ian was up a lot in the night. They watched jungle book last night and he must have been dreaming about the scary wild animals.
Today we are starting our regular schedule for cleaning and school. Been nice having three weeks off :)
When we got home our garden had gone to town with growth!! Lots of spinach and zuch. I had to thin the carrots, beets and turnips so we have tons of mini of each. Great for salads and juicing. I also found several great sounding turnip recipes!
Ian is begging to get back on a plane to SC! He asks several times a day :)
Today durning quiet time I will try to check out yalls pics!! Such good times and wonderful to have a photographer in the fam to capture it all!!
Rachel, Josiah said he took a little girl doll to the 320 house. Other than that nobody knows where the people are :( Did you find any while cleaning the house out? Praying they show up.
School starts at 10 so I better get out of here and on with the day. Love you all and miss you more than ever!

Gettng ready

After bfast we are driving to my parents. They have Jagger today so it will be good to see him. Have not seen my sis or Jag since Christmas :(
Will leave the house at 4:30 to get to airport by 6. My silly mom wants us to be there 2 hrs early no way are we leaving at 3:30 :( 1 hour will have to do. Pray for me extra on Thursday It will be a long hard dday and I am sick. God is good! So looking forward to seeing everyone.
Our plan is to go to greenville sometime fri am. Spend afternoon with Maggios. Spend evening with Cris Mark and boys (so excited to meet them). Sat reunion, evening either back at Cris' or to Jake and Hillary's. Sunday meeting Then spend afternoon with Linda and fam. Sunday evening at Jakes and Monday visit Aaron and Jennifer then back to Columbia to relax! :) Busy but so excited to see everyone.
Levi is up so I must get him going. Nice having Roy home to get the big ones up and going :)

Staying home!!

We have been out a lot the last week. Looking forward to time at home today. Last night Roy and the boys cleaned the entire kitchen after dinner so Icould have a bath. What a treat!! What a awesome man I married!!!!

So good to talk to Rachel yesterday. BTW I don't know how you do it. Being a wife, mom of 2 and work full time??!!

Today I have laundry to do, and I would really like to tidy up my room, also need to get the full day of school in :) Best get on task.

Better get busy

We had a wonderful morning with some MOPS friends. Stopped at target on the way home and let the kids wander around a pet store. Now Avery and Levi are both asleep at the same time and the boys are watching. I need to finish cleaning the kitchen and fold some laundry.

Last night dinner with Cheryl was wonderful. She is looking forward to studying the bible with us! I have also just started a study on the attributes of God with my sis. She has grown so much in the last 6 months! Pray she continues on w/o becoming discouraged.

I missed the entire Biggest Loser finale :( I know Mike won but what details did I miss and how much did Shay lose? So sad to miss it but... oh well :) God has bigger and better things for us to do.

only a moment

Today I am taking care of a friend 1 yr old. Right now Micah and Ian are sure enjoying Ellie :) They are taking on this responsibility with great joy and without being asked. Thrills this mommas heart. So glad to be able to help as I cannot go to the packing party. Thinking the kids would be too much in the way and not a lot of packing would get done. So I am happy to watch Ellie and let Kendra go help w/o distractions :)
Tonight Cheryl will be coming over for dinner. Pray we are an encouragement to her.

new week

We had the sweetest day of fellowship yesterday! Meeting was at our house followed by lunch and a celebration of 2 birthdays. Everyone stayed for quite awhile visiting and talking of the Lord. Most were gone by 3:30 and then we got ready to go to our class. We went early to meet a lady. Roy put a add in the little nickle paper for "free christian counseling" we have had 4 calls and two are nearby christians who have no one to talk to. They go to church but everyone there is too busy :( We met Cherly yesterday and will be picking her up for dinner on Tuesday. We are called to live lives of service for Christ. This has been a good reminder for me to die to self and seerve. So often I am wrapped up in my responsibilities here and my family. Pray for us as we make this feeble attempt at serving complete strangers.

Still working on getting the yard ready. we may sod half for now and the rest when we get our 1st time buyers credit.

busy day

Goal is to post a little every day :) Ultimatly want to pst in evening but am usually too tired to think properly after 6.
Today we are having a norm am then off to the park to help make a MOPS video. On the way home the grocery store is a must. Praying everyone will cooperate as naps will be missed and Averys cut short.
I just heard micah say" and stay out" shut a door, and Avery crying in the hall. As of this week she can open doors so I better see what the issue is.

no news is good news on this end. Very busy trying to get house in order and maintain what is already done. School is moving ahead slowly. Micah is uninterested and Ian loves it :) Ian can read some and josiah is putting sounds together. Both have been much easier to get to sit than Micah. Thankyou Lord!!!
Last weekend we trenched for sprinklers and Roy is putting the pvc together on evenings. Once done we will sod and then think about the fence (and what is leftt dollar wise to do it). Trenched three yards on Sat. Have found some great new neighbors!!
Being able to be outside regularly has been such a blessing!! The boys are finally able to ride their bikes and dig in dirt!!
Must get to the littles and make sure they are doing what they are supposed to do!

rainy day

I love the rain here. We do not get much and when we do i is usually early and clears up to be a beautiful day! This is the day the Lord has made I will REJOICE!!

Rejoicing in so much today. So many things I CAN DO in the new house i need to start a list.
So when the newness and excitement wears off I can remember where we came from :)

busy weekend

Fri night and Sat am I went to a MOPS leadership semminar. I am not in leadership but went as last year was such a blessing! Topic was passion and started with fears moved on to courage and then leaving pasive bbehind and going forward with passion. Lots learned and very practical for moms.

Just befor I left Fri Roy closed Averys finger in the hinge side of a door. Completly tore off her nail. Please pray she heals w/o infection. She is still favoring it and would be cute except I know it hurts her.

Sat evening we got 3 bookshelves and I got all the kids books put away.

Sunday we had everyone over after meeting fo lunch here. There were 5 visitors who also came. there were 19 plus our family. What a way to start entertaining in our own home! Cannot wait till the next time :) May we always use all that we have for his honor and glory!!

Today is lots of laundry (3 days off and there are piles waiting), the computer desk needs attention and I need to organize the craft/activity stuff in th school room and then that room will be completly done!

Tired family

Wow everyone is still asleep!! Usually by 7 I have 2 up.
The computer is in our room now so geting on it will be tricky in some way easier but being it is out of the way not so convinient. So nice to have our own room. Since Micah was born we have always had a crib in our room. So I have been pregnant and or someone else (for 6 months 2 someones) in our room all but 4 months of marriage!
I hear Levi starting to wake.
I made a comment on my last post and wondering what yall thought. This is something Roy is praying about bringing up with them this summer.

getting settled

Hard to believe we have been in for just over 2 weeks! Still so much to do but we are soooo enjoying this very big blessing of a house! The first week I was in serious pain. Knees killing me with so much extra walking in all this space :) The kids are all sleeping much better and Avery is back to 2-3 hr naps!! They are worn out :) Regular life must go on and keeping what is unpacked and orgnized in order leaves little time for getting the rest of the stuff in garage organized.

Talked with dad Ficek on Monnday he said they spent a week with Ted and Rachel and no mention of the birthday party. He did say there was a dedication for Asher. I was frantically getting dinner ready and did not ask him if they wwent. Wondering if they went?? Said they are now with Lance and Julie indefinitly.

Todays goal is making bookshelves out of boxes for my room. will see how far I get:)

Moving Day!

It is finally here! Not sure when I will be able to post again. Excited to go thru the stuff from storage. Christmas all over again :) There are several boxes we have not opened since we moved from SC! Decor, kitchen and books we sure need some glasses but not sure what all is in there. Looking at a long day with which the Lord will shine!! Better get busy :)

Computer down

Monday I caught Levi playing with the computer cords and since then we could not get online. Last night Roy and Micah fixed it so here I am :0)
With the tax credit time coming to an end people are all trying to finish up houses and buy houses to qualify for the credit so our paperwork is sitting on a desk waiting to be signed. Our Loan lady said it was at the Kennewick escrow/title so yesterday we went there and they gave us a time today to come in and sign. Gods timing is perfect!! We will move some stuff and then us and all the big stuff will move on Saturday. Mom and dad will be back Sun-Tues so they will be able to watch the kids while I go clean the apt. I started to worry a little on Tuesday when I realized we had a week and had to be out of the apt (they have already rented it out). Homeless would have been a good experience for all of us. Faith in action as we are always telling the kids the Lord provides for our needs.
Levi is doing a bit better but still in some pain. We have done tylenol and ora gel. I also put wet wash cloths in the freezer. He is still getting up twice in the night and it is killing me!! When we move we will take care of that problem as I think it is soon going tobe a habitfor him. One I will break ASAP!!

Weekend wanderings

We had a busy weekend doing not what we had planned for. Still waiting on the house. Roy, dad, and the big boys went to look at a full sized van a hour out of town. Roy bought it for 800. Works great and only needs a little maintenance. Mom and I took Avery and levi and spent the day shopping. Have no idea when I last did that I am normally not much for that but had a blast!!
Levi is our worst teether so far. For about 5 days now he has been up 4-7 times in the night. He is also the first one to have a fever with teeth. two are thru on the bottom with two more coming and one coming on top. Poor guy! How is Ashers teething going? Guessing we could call and chat in the middle of the night hahaha.
Sunday was busy and wonderful. After meeting we all ate lunch together and had a lot of spiritual conversation. Came home and continued it with my parents and then they went grocery shopping as they leave for their trip this am and will be back next Sat night.

So now we sit and wait to sign. Roy was by yesterday and everything was clean just touch ups left. Today We are waiting for a call from Sandy to do a walk thru then sign praying for tomorrow. Although today would not be too bad as I did not end up going out yesterday.

Expensive weekend :)

Wow we spent a lot of money this weekend. Started out going out to eat Friday because we had to pick up Roy from work. Then saturday... we have never spent so much in even a month. The way it goes when getting a real house I suppose. This week will just be more spending by putting the downpay.

Prayer is my word for the year and I have been purposfully and specifically praying. Thursday I had to meet Roy to give him his phone charger. I mentioned the reunion the short of it was he said that he and Josh talked about it and Roy thinks I should go with the two little ones while he takes the week off with the big boys! I was very confused. After talking Friday I realized it is not money but how we use it that he is being cautious about. I told him we did not have to go we just need to tell yall whats up ASAP. So I prayed just for the Lords leading and wisdom for my husband and peace for me with not going. First thing Saturday am Roy looked at tix prices and after just over 2 hours he shocked me by saying he bought tix!! We fly out on the first and return on the13th or 14. He decided to take a few extra days unpaid for which I am so grateful for! In my mind it made no sense to go Thursday to Thursday and waste weekend days. So exciting to see the Lord answer specific prayer and then some :) There are a whole lot of little stories in there too! Testimony of the Lord granting desires of the heart for many more than just me!! Now on to other specific prayers and looking forward to His divine answers!!

Then on Sat afternoon we bought a new fridge and deep freeze. They are to be ddelivered today!! So exciting as I have never had a full sized fridge!!! And a deep freeze is a dream come true!!

Going to be a busy week and my parents are stopping by this weekend on their way to Idaho.

Pray for July!

I know you all have been praying as I have for this trip. about a month ago Roy started saying we could not afford to go with all the expensen of the house and... I feel like we can rice and beans beans and rice. So he is a little nervous about it. Also the fact the he seems to have the same issue as his parents when it comes to making plans. They don't :) Sooo... I have had in my mind that this week I would push for the answer and get tix. Little did I know I would not see Roy xcept for a hi bye in the am. Tues-Thurs are the best days to buy tix and I found some today for 377 each taxes and fees included (about 50 cheaper than last week). Pray Roy gets the house done earlt tonight so I can see him, talk and show tixs and buy!! I have my heart set on this trip not sure what will happen if iit dosent. I have not seen Linda and Lara in 5 years! So want too see them again and my dear friend Cris although I did see her at the wedding. Can't wait to meet Asher and still praying we can meet Judah at the same time :) Also looking forward to meeting the new and improved Lance!! Love and miss you all!!

slow start

This am I struggled finding my "eager hands" I am quite congested from all the dust packing has stirred up and our horrible vent system here. However slow the start much has been accomplished this am.
Roy did not get home till just after 10 last night. His first words were of regret at not seeing the birthday girl at all on her special day (he left really early). Nothing beats a dad daughter relationship esp after 3 boys. Very special to watch and I bet Jeff would be a great dad to a little princess :) He still has a few hours of work on the house after work today and then will go over a few blocks for the mens bible study prayer meeting at 8 b4 coming home. Praying he gets it done tonight so we can see him again. I am so proud of him he is such a hard worker and never complains about the long days!! Thankyou Lord for my wonderfully talented and hard working husband!!! Above all thankyou for his passionate desire to put you abouve all else for your honor and glory!!

one tooth wonder

Levi has a tooth. Praying that was the reason for a horrible night last night. Also poor naps Sunday and Monday.
So thankful to hear of Jacobs improvement!! We prayed for him every day but with being gone most of the day we did not on Sunday. At bed time Micah asked if we could pray for him because "we don't want to forget him"
Today will be another day with just the kids and I. Don't know when Roy got in last night. He is doing all the trim work on our house. He should be done tonight then they have to move the island out (cant fit a large fridge in where they put it), fix floor, then do touch ups and clean ups. Should be done no later than next tuesday and we can sign by end of next week! We have been looking for a black fridge... pleasse pray we can find one on craigs list soon. Kinda need one as soon as we move other things can wait but not that :)
Avery has always said two when you ask her how old she is. Today we asked her and of all thigs sh said one!? She loves to say two so I'm sure she will get it right :)

Made it up early. Made hashbrown casserol and suprize monkey bread for mops today. Thought I would have time to write but Avery just got up.

Yesterday was beautiful. We went for a walk by the river and had to shed our sweatshirts immediatly :) Will miss living so close to the river, not that we will really ever be that far from it but it is walking distance now.

we all know Kids say the most funny things! A few years ago I had a special calander and wrote all their funny sayings on. Thinking I must start this again. Last night during biggest loser Roy brought Ian down. Ian was coughing so much he threw up a little :( So we made him a bed on the couch. Micah came down later. When the Dr was talking to Sam about his smoking and drinking Micah wondered why drinking was bad and asked if he should stop drinking but then I would die. Just befor he went to bed he saw a boy on tv playing with legos and said "It's my best toy in the world...I just wish I had some!" On that funny note he went to bed :) I love my blessings and all they have to say!

Today I will be catching up on laundry and going through Levis clothes. My sis sent all the 9months and up clothes over with my parents. Levi can even wear some of the 12 mo stuff. Must put up the 3-6 and some uneeded baby blankets.

Getting ready to go to a creative activities meeting for mops. The creative activity lady moved last week so several of us are going to take it over for the rest of the year.

Another 60 degree day here. Yesterday we collected bugs from under the big storage box. Found worms, millioeeds, roly polys, snails, slugs, nts, and some sort of eggs. The best kind of learning!!

Olympics are over :( hello again Biggest loser, Survivor and more sleep. I did get a lot of reading done during comercials and events Iwas not too excited about. So I saw several comercials for Biggest loser and Abby from last season was in them?? Not sure what that means but she was my fav last season. What a story of a true overcomer I wont spoil it for you but if they bring her back or even just share her story have a box of tissue nearby!

We had a great time with my parents. The boys did a great job cleaning they did the kitchen floor, the little bathroom, windows, and livingroom. With a little instruction and help for the upper window the job was done great!

House is coming along fixtures are all in and I love them. Suprized by fans which we thought were extra so did not order but had the hookups put in. My sis has 2 in storage they wouldnt match at all but we were going to use them. The guy working Saturday was putting fans up and we ?ed him. They startedd making fans standard this year so they are adding them! counters and cabinets are going in then floor and finish ups.

milestones

Amazing to watch our little blessings grow! So fun to watch the video of Asher walking!! Levi pulls himself up onto things already. I do not mind having more than one in diapers so Ian trained himself at barly 2 yrs old and I waited till Josiah was three and had him trained in a day. No intentions of training Avery any time soon but... She likes to sit on thepotty then run around naked. I can tell when she has to go but for almost a month now nothing on the potty but she will bring mme a diaper and then go in the diaper. So I am just going with it. On Sunday she made her first pee and yesterday a poop on the potty!!

I have hired the Ficek Brothers cleaning co. to come clean my house at 9 this morning. They have already called me twice this am to confirm their appointment :) Ian also told me to go to his store upstairs cause he was selling his toys for free to get money to buy legos.

rough am

I stayed up to watch ice dancing last night adn did not get to bed till 12:30. I was fairly happy with the results. Wish is was a North American sweep but 2 out of three aint so bad. Fed Levi at 5am and slept till just after 7 and I feel suprizingly good. Levi is a mess I put him down for his am nap and he cried for an hour. Then he only slept an hour!?? Not sure what the problem is praying it is teething or some other normal baby issue and not that he is getting sick. Almost 7 months and not even a runny nose from the lad :)

My parents called last night to say they plan on coming over for a few days w-sat. We are trying to eat what we have so this am I spent some time going thru food and planning a grocery trip so we have enough food while they are here.

Now to figure some fun things to do while they are here. Mom will be a big help packing up the kitchen!! Although they have never moved she is a expert packer!!

Weekend was spent packing and doing laundry. Roy took apart one of the boys bed so now we can put boxes in their room. So far I have school stuff, games & puzzels, boyys winter clothes, all books, most toys, all picturess & wall decor, and all misc stuff from our room packed! Only a month to go :) They should be texturing walls today.

Another beautiful sunshiny day. May try to walk to the park if Levi wakes from his nap early.

I have been dragging for weeks now (maybe even years). Did not think it would be so hard to stay content with the house so close to being done. We have a prayer meeting every Sunday b4 the worship meeting. I so wanted to request prayer for myself but did not know what for so I kept quiet. The Lord knows all our needs!! The answer to my unspoken prayer came in the form of Shelly offering to watch all the kids for 2 hours yesterday. From there the blessings of the Lord flowed and put me in tears of repentance for my lack of faith and contentment!
Blessings of yesterday: 1. Shellie came for 2 hours! 2. quick kidless grocery shop 3. Dutch Bros. coffee shop had all drinks $1 yesterday! 4. beautiful 55 degree day 5. long walk in woods where I saw a woodpecker, squirrel, and a rabbit 6. reading the Word by the side of a stream with bird tweets in the background 7. afew minutes to write in my spiritual journal b4 having to be home. All of this equaled a much needed rejuvinated mommy. GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD!

Another beautiful day here. Sunny and fairly warm! Praying it lasts although Feb is known here for high winds. However they won't be too bad if it is so warm :)

going the distance

Proverbs 31 woman is a woman living out life to the glory of her God! Today thinking on vs 12&13 She will do him good, and not evil all the days of her life. She is like a merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

Although I would say that I want no evil to come upon my dear husband how often do I unintentionally bring evil to him. I am to be his help meet so am I going out of my way to help him? By asking him to do all the little errands since he is out (which he is always willing to do yesterday he dropped off library videos) is not helping him. Olin (our home builders) keeps calling with things to sign. Monday we both had to go sign for the flooring, final costs paper needs to be returned, and now they need one of us to sign something else... also lenders papers need to be returned to fed ex. Soooo this am Roy was taking the package to fed ex and he came back in and asked me to do it. I said yes although I have no idea where it is and not too excited about taking all 5 kids in for a probably less than a minute drop off. After that I will take them all into olin to sign my sig another less than a min activity. So in order to be the best help meet I possibly can I will spend more time getting kids in and out of the car to run these errands and then go to two grocery stores to accomplish the next proverbs 31 verse. This woman went the distance for her family to provide them with food. Since there were no fridgerators in those days she probably had to go to the market often possibly even daily. The blessing of fridgeration!! We are not told of how many children she had but sounds like she had more than one by the word children in various verses. I am willing to go the distance because I love my husband, children, and God. I will do these tasks heartily for the glory of the Lord!! My prayer is to always have this attitude as a first reaction in all that I do at home or out. We all work and can give heartily to the Lord in all that we do. I am sure you all have a better handel on this than I do but know that I will be praying this for each of you throughout the rest of this month! I love you sistas!!

Survivor Thursday

looking forwared to the 20th season starting tonight.
may try to get to the library today. hard when you have someone napping almost all day. levi naps 9-noon avery goes down at noon for 2-3 hrs levi is down again at 2 till 5. i am blessed that they respond well o their sleep training but it makes going anywhere kinda hard.

Late start

Slept in this am. Roy came and woke me at 7:30 to tell me he was leaving. Micah was very confused and asked several times why mommy wasn't the first one up. Avery Ian and micah were all up b4 me. Levi did not get up till 8 (he nursed at 4:30).

Any ideas on garage storage space. We are looking to maximize the space by using celing and walls. We have a lot of boxes of clothing. Roy is trying to design something that he will build but we would love any ideas anyone has or things that have worked for you.

Rachel we love love love the sesame ginger seasoning!! Had it last night with our stir fry compliments my soy sauce perfecttly!! Thankyou thankyou! :)

Goals

Weighed myself the other day and i have lost the weight i gained last fall. I am now 118, below pre preg weight 0f 122. Not sure that I shared this with you but last spring (end march begin April) I started getting hheadaches. Dr and nurses said normal with precnancy no worries. I do not take meds unless I am unable to function. I was taking Tylenol every day. They continued after Levi was born and I finally told Gloria who had me walk the line at the park. Her nephew had a brain tumor and that is the tell all sign. I passed:) So why the pain?? My conclusions were brain tumor, nutrition, stress, not enough sleep, long hair, too much caffine, and house conditions (dust, mold ect.). During my pregnancy out of the blue my dear friend Lisa had asked me if I was eating enough. I guess a mother of many knows some of the habits of a busy mom. In Oct I started purposfully eating more as much more as possible. By thanksgiving I had gained 10 lbs and headaches were random. I have lost the weight but am still trying to eat more at meals. I also do not have snacks in the house unless we make them. Headaches are gone! Thank you Lord for showing me some of my many needs.

It is so about being healthy in order to serve the Lord without any hinderance!! So as you continue on with your weight loss goals I encourage you to keep on for the service and ultimatly glory of the Lord!! "She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."

3 days 15 hours!!

Looking forward to this week. Last was a mess with Ian sick and Levi spent thurs and fri nights waking up around 2:30 and crying for over a hour. Not sure what the problem was but he has gone from 8-5 the last two nights :)

Saturday the ladies met at IHOP for bfast! After I dropped some financial paperwork off at Olin homes. Sandy says our eta for the finished house is March 12-19th!! I was sure it would be beg. April. I have a bunch of pics that I will try to post but I have to figure how to get them into the new comp program first.

Friday Levi officially crawled! For aver a month he has gotten where he wants to by rollind and doing a lunge move. So fri he used his hands and legs to properly crawl a few feet. He still often uses the lunge move so I guess he will have a tough face :)

MOPS today

I am so thankful to the Lord that Ian was suddenly much better yesterday. At 10:30 he came to me and said " mommy I can walk! I am all better now." He was sooo excited and then he started playing and carring on as if nothing was ever wrong. I feel like I have been through the wringer. Excited to be able to go relax this am knowing the kids are having fun too.

for somestrange reason they moved the biggest loser back an hour so i did not get to bed till after 11:30. Yes Rach we watch and love the "fat fattys" (Roys idea of a name :)

Ian was a little better yesterday but much more difficult and very demanding he"vry concerned about his illness and why he is dizzy and can't walk too well. I assured him it was from lack of food. Took Roy and I 15 min to get him to take a large spoon of jam with 1/2 a smashed tylenol in it. I was sure he would go into a seizure from sheer panic. May cave in and call dr today :( Praying for wisdom. We have never had a child sick for more than one day so this is new territory. Thankfully no one else has it! Going to be very dissappointed if we miss MOPS tomorrow. Thank you all for your prayers they are much appreciated!! What a relief to know our God is in control of everything. Be anxious for nothing... Faith in all things for our God works all for good to his glory!! Now to remember that at all times :)

Quickness in order

Ian is sick. High fever all day yesterdasy 103-4. Threw up in our bed around 11:30 pm and about an hour later fever broke. It is back again this am. Problem is he will not take meds. Even if you get it in him he will gag on it. Liquid is too sweet for him and we got the dissolving kind but that did not work either. Thankfully he has not has a seizure looks like he may have out grown them. PTL!! Please pray that he is healed soon and no one else gets it.

Avery is trying to push me outta the chair. Rachel I now sympathize more with you... I am remembering the sippy at night delimal you had not understanding why after a night or two w/o it she would be fine. Avery has that kind of temperment. Girls are a very different breed from the boys and much more demanding and as for our situation smarter earlier, more vocal earlier and very tempermental :) We just may have our first case of terrible twos here.

Hello all

Sorry it has been so long!! I sure have missed you sistas! Usually Even when I am gone I still read your posts but not this last month. We got some sort of a computer virus. Over the holiday the older neighbor kids were here playing games on computer and I was also playing some games with Micah and Ian and the computer really got messed up. My awesome husband eventually fixed it but with limited time avaliable it took awhile.
Must go get my reading done. Avery has started waking up early and not much gets done when she is up :)
