Praying for a good day!

Yesterday afternoon was much better than the am. We went to a 7th grade b-ball game and the kids had a blast. The team we were cheering for won by a lot.
Today I have to pack and clean. We were going to leave early tomorrow am but last night Roy decided we would go tonight after work. I'm sure my house will not be clean:( Oh well! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the food and family time! We miss you all so much and wish that we lived a little closer! But know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers!!

another crappy morning

Why Why Why??? This am there is lots of laundry and cleaning to do not to mention were behind in school. Yet all I can do is yell at the kids and sit on the couch and cry (I seldom cry and never do I tell anyone if I do). Then my mom calls. She does nothing but frusterate me:) Micah caught me crying and has been wonderful ever since. We went out for a bit. Now we are getting ready to go to a middle school b-ball game! I am very excited about that although it may make me very sad because I want to play. The boys are excited. Like yesterday today was a bad eating day":(

Awful day

Boy was today ever tragic. Thru it all the Lord is good and the day is over!! House was a disaster from yesterday then children were not getting along very well. Still trying to catch up on laundry. Lots of phone calls and issuees to deal with my sis and Josh (Jaggers dad). Micah is getting very defiant and then told me at bed time that he felt like I don't love him anymore. We talked and he decided he wishes he were more like Jesus. :) Tomorrow is a new day withs lots of laundry still to do:)

I am sooo tired today. Stayed up late talking with Roy and Avery was up at 5am:( I did manage to do some cleaning. The kit floor was a mess but I'm happier with it now. Even had willing helpers:) I have been trying to find a good whole wheat pizza dough recipe and think I may have found one. So we had pizza tonight:) Going to try to be in bed by 9:30!

Micah got his package in the mail today. Thank you so much he was thrilled he's very much in love with spiderman:) I just keep remembering "this too shall pass"!:) I am happy to see him so happy. I personally loved the little note from Arden!!

Heres to a good day :)

Last night was quite strange. Once we were home from meeting it was a struggle to settle the boys down. Once we had them in bed I was leaving and Ian was peeking out I went to kiss his sweet little face and he inadvertantly poked me in the eye. I thought Roy was with them and there was a lot of noise. Eventually all boys were downstairs and I realized Roy had gone to bed. Went up, came down. Micah showed up again then Ian started wailing. He smashed his lip on the wooden part of the bed. He has quite a gash on his lip:( Once that was settled he went right to sleep. Micah and Josiah were awake till 11. I guess they were so overtired now we have to be somewhere early this am. I'm sure no one will want to get up.

Thursdays eats:
nothing yet will have lots to eat at MOPS:)

At this point I decided to scrap the plan and have fun to which the boys esp Micah cheered:) Instead of going to grocery and home we went to McDs, grocery, and pet store. All were happy!

I just got jabbed in the eye while putting the boys to bed. So this will be brief as I cannot open my left eye.

I have completly eliminated the TV and computer for my kids this week. Last week it was just the computer. Micah is obsessed with them both so I need to cut them out for now. That said Mornings are spent keeping them entertained and playing kindly with each other. That leaves very little time for cleaning or anything I need or want to do:)

Tuesday night we had a time of prayer at Josh and Glorias house. Good time of fellowship. that night Roy and I were up till 12:30 talking mostly about the assembly.
Yesterday Roy was home from work and we went out to the stores.
Today Roy is home again. He wants to work on the car and I need to clean. My 2nd cousin Rebekah is coming over for the day tomorrow. Should be a busy day today.

UGH! Its Tuesday

I really really dislike Tuesdays. Whoever started the "tradition" of having our childrens meetings on Monday night did not have children or were absolutely crazy. With two nights in a row late to bed all my chillens are very cranky on Tuesday. This am Josiah woke up crying at 7:15 which woke the other 2 boys. We are low on cereal and all three cried for either a different kind or a diff bowl. So usually tues am I let them watch tv and veg more. Right noww they are watching curious george. A few weeks ago I decided I would start staying home with the two little ones and send Micah and Ian with Roy. About that time I found out that Josh wanted to stop the Monday night meeting. The men have been discussing the issue. There are only three more weeks before the award night and then a break for the holiday. I will finish off the year then if they continue next yr will stay home with Josiah and Avery maybe Ian too we will see.
I need to go get invites for Micahs b day party but may wait till tomorrow as it is raining.

I cant believe we are so far into nov already. Love Love Love the pics of sweet little Arden!!
Today we went to the store near us then to a park for lunch. It was sunny but a bit breezzy ( I have no idea how to spell that:) will just add a few of all the letters). Then we hadd a very very good day of school! When he tries Micah can do almost anything and even after over a month off from our phonics/reading program he picked back up with flying colors:) Oh that he would do that every day.
Tonight we had childrens meeting and it was good to see my frind Gloria out ( Usually dosent come cause she has a 1st grader who needs to be in bed early) as there is no school tomorroww. We had a nice little visit:)

Very tired

Made a big mistake last night. Stayed up way way too late:( Roy got home around 9:30 and we got the kids to bed. I had baking to do for my MOPS meeting this morning. While doing that Roy and I started talking about our assembly, what's working, what's not, changes needed ect. The conversation moved to Roy at the computer on his bible program and me sitting nearby with my bible and a book on the NT church. We talked till 1am! When Roy went to bed he woke up Avery who cried for a long time. I finally fed her and got to sleep around 2. She was up at 5:30!! I had to get up to finish baking and get ready to leave by 8:30. Roy is off today so he just took Ian and Josiah for haircuts. Roy cut Micahs last week so he is watching while Avery finishes her nap.
Today once we were home Micah was playing a war plane game with Roy. I got Avery's cereal ready and Ian asked if he could help feed her. I held her in my lap while he spooned the food in:) It was precious. Josiah sat next to Ian and kept telling him what a good job he was doing! He did great but in the end Avery had cereal all over her nose down to her chin. Josiah got to feed her the last little bit. Fun times:)

Yesterday was filled with laundry. Micah wanted to help fold so it took a little longer but he was a willing and fast learner:) He then shocked me by asking to do school! Avery woke up at 5 a very happy girl for the first time in well over a week. All 4 kiddos were in bed by 7:30 and not a peep from anyone. Yesterday was a very good day and I am trusting today will be likewise.

Our weekend was very uneventful. Avery has a eye tooth poking thru now so that must be the problem. She was up again at 4 this morning :( We are going to a friends this am then to walmart and home for school. Roy and his boss Tim are going up north hunting for a few days. Hopefully they get 2 nice fat deer:)

All week Avery has been getting up earlier and earlier. Monday started the usual 6:15ish T=10 to 5, W=5:30, TH=5:10, F=5 and this am 4!!! I let her cry till 6. The boys would go back to sleep but not my girl! This am I let her cry till 5 then gave her some baby ora gel then she cried 10 mins or so then went to sleep for a hour. If this is just more teeth coming uggg she is more difficult in every way or maybe I was just badly spoiled with the boys:)
Last night was a blast. I had never been to a trunk or treat befor and this one was awesome! Very well done and well participated in. Micah was a soldier, Ian spiderman, Josiah a bee and Avery a lady bug. Will try to get the pics on comput today and post them soon but you know me so don't hold your breath:)
