Any big plans for yall? None here I have realized that staying up late is not worth it anymore. Maybe when the kids are a little older. We also don't really have anyone to do anything with.
Anywho we will have a nice family day on New Years Day (hopefully Roy will not have to go to work like he had to today).

Rough night

Avery was up at 1 and screamed quite awhile. She woke again at 4 cried till 5 when I fed her then slept on and off till 6. I think she may be teething again. I have never had such a bad teether :( I do not function well w/o proper sleep (who does?). So much to do and so little energy.

getting back in the groove of blogging

After a week of doing nothing here I am. The advantage of not going anywhere for CHRISTmas is no extra foods. We ate very normal last week so I don't have to worry about any extra pounds. If I weigh first thing in he am I am 116 by end of day tend to be 118.

SNOW and more SNOW!!

We have had snow for over a week now and got dumped on again last night. I love it although it has jepordized my CHRISTmas preparations:( My parents side of the state is in the worst winter storm in 12 years. Hence we will not be going for CHRISTmas. Micah will be in for the shock of his life CHRISTmas with no presents! Roy and I are trying to come up with something special to do. Any suggestions?? It will be a quiet two days couped up with just our family:)

Very behind

We do not do much for Christmas. So it is not something I worry much about and then all of a sudden it is upon me and very little is done.
Last week we got a new engine put in the van. There were a lot of problems and it cost us over 5,000 UGGG!! So I went nowhere last week. Sat pm we went in the Hall bus to get the van eat and go grocery shopping and I forgot my list at home. It started snowing! It snowed all night and again Sunday night and most of Monday morning. Beautiful but not fun to go out in with kids so I still have no groceries, cards are still at the store and no stamps either:( Roy has my list today:) I'm makeing most of our gifts and going to 2 cookie exchanges thiss week so the groceries are important!
It has been a bear getting pics of the kids for our cards! Every time I tell the boys to smile Josiah yells cheese and Avery has to look at him! Ian dosent last too long befor he gets pouty and then mad. Will post them soon:)

So much to do. The van is getting a new engine and should be ready today. I have gotten behind in the laundry department again :) I just can't seem to keep up!

I went to my last youth bible hour last night. Regardless if they continue on with it I will not go. It is too hard to be out late two nights in a row. Avery is often in bed by 7 when we are home.

busy day ahead

After a bad night we have a really busy day today. Ian woke up scared to death of something. Roy spent a long time with him and he kept crying. When I went in he told me he was afraid of daddy because he was making scary faces. Not too sure what that was about. I laid down beween him and Josiah and he was soon asleep. I tried to sleep there but after 1/2 a hour I gave up and went back to my bed where my feet don't hang off. He slept till 7 this morning.

Today I have laaundry and cleaning to do this am. This afternoon we have a birthday party to go to (I still need to get the rest of the gift). Tonight is prayer meeting and bible study. I am exausted already and the day is hardly started:(

I love being a aunt!!

I am so thrilled that Rachel is in the pregnant state again!!!!! I really felt that I missed out being a first time aunt since Ethan was born only days after Micah. I was so overwhelmed with motherhood that being an aunt was not so thrilling. If you think about it since dec 03 there has only been one 6ish month period where no one in the Don Ficek family was pregnant!! Some of them as we are finding out :) have overlapped quite a bit!! And Julie hasent even started yet. FUN TIMES! Who's next?? I say all in the Lords perfect timing.

Praying you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We had a good time at my parents and saw lots of the Holt side at my aunts. Went to a outback farm the day after had a blast in the rain!! Glad to be home away from the rain :)
