What a day yesterday was!!!!
1. Internet connection down in the am
2. Went to Dennys with Gloria and her kids for free grand slams. The line was into the parking lot so... she treated us to Taco Bell and then we went to the park. There is a long story here :) will eloborate in the future. Got home late afternoon.
3. spent the evening in the ER with Micah. I have always marveled at the fact that with three boys and Micah being such a dare devil we have never been to even the dr for injuries. Not so anymore. After dinner the boys were clearing the table as they always do, Micah fell with a casserol dish and sliced his hand pretty bad. Roy took care of it (there was a lot of blood and screaming) and told me to take him to the er for stitches. When we got there he kept crying saying he was scared and did not want stitches. He was also very white :( A nurse cleaned it out while I held a screaming boy and tried not to cry myself. Then the Dr came and glued it, bandaged it and put a splint on that he is to have on for a week. All in all not too bad a experience I am so glad they glued it the marvels of modern medicine! We got ice cream on the way home for a special treat.
Tuesdays food:

planning on eggs and pancakes but settled for a chicken taco, beef-n-bean burrittoand water
1/4 apple
grilled chicken, scalloped potatoes, white corn, salad w/ thousand Isl.
fried tortilla w/cinn and sugar

Wednesdays food:
coffee
cereal, milk
coffee
pb banana sandwich, cheese,, milk
yogurt w/ granola
1 1/2 grilled cheese, tomato soup
coffee

WOW! so glad he is OK! I am sure he wsa scared, i know I would have been.
As for the IceCream talk: Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia is the BESY ever but with all the fat.. I asked Ted to fine me something that was not SOOOO bad for me. The Pet is good (not better) but really good when you are counting those fats on the back.
Poor Micah! So glad that he wasn't hurt too badly. It will just give him a scar to brag about later...like his Uncle Lance does. :)
oh boy- i'm holding my breath - sooner or later i know that will be us in the ER with one of our boys - not looking forward to that!! So sorry Micah - probably was trying to help clear the table right?? Man
i hear ya on the whole organized thing- cant imagine what it must be like to be in a small place and try to do that - i guess you dont store too many things for later? My sister in law had 4 kids in a 2 bedroom apt for awhile - they just moved into thier new house (took Jason 2yrs to build) they dont know what to do with all the space and the kids were afraid to sleep in thier own rooms alone at first. Shes also finding it takes alot more time to clean a 5 bedroom home!
